Visit to Clarks Shoemakers Museum – Street

Join us for a fabulous day out at the Clarks Shoemakers Museum in Street.

Shoemakers Museum is a brand new visitor experience which opened to the public in September 2025. A family-friend attraction that celebrates 200 years of shoemaking history through the eyes of the shoemakers, telling the stories behind Clarks shoes in the place where it all began in Street, Somerset.

Discover a remarkable collection of over 100,000 objects, highlights of which will be on display in the museum’s four galleries: Welcome to Street, Making shoes, Selling and Buying, and Fossils.

There will be a guided tour at 11.30am, cost: £14.00.

Visitors booked on the tour get four hours free parking (Car Park No 2) which can be extended if you wish to stay longer for some shopping. Please arrive a bit earlier so you can go to the museum to get a ticket for your car.

To make this trip viable we need a minimum of ten and no more than twenty Early Birds to sign up.
