Bean to Cup – Behind the Scenes at Mr Miles

We are very excited to announce an extra Early Bird event!

Get ready for a fascinating journey into the world of coffee!

Colin Barrell from Mr Miles in Taunton will take us on an engaging talk and slide presentation following the incredible journey of the coffee bean — from bush to cup. Discover how those humble beans are grown, harvested, roasted and transformed into the drink we all love.

We’ll then pause to enjoy a well-earned break with tea or coffee, accompanied by a delicious scone or slice of cake.

Afterwards, Colin will share the story of his life in business — the challenges, successes and experiences that led him to (and through) his time at Mr Miles. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and hear more of his insights.

To round off the visit, we’ll head downstairs for an exclusive look at the roasting process in their impressive state-of-the-art coffee roaster — seeing first-hand how the magic happens!

And as a final treat, everyone will leave with a small goodie bag to take home.

It promises to be an informative, enjoyable and inspiring event — not to be missed!
